What lives in this corner
The printables corner is Planella's shelf of free preschool printables, and it opens with Make Your Own Feeling Cards: twelve cards with photo frames for the real, familiar faces in a child's life. Make them online by adding photos right from your phone (they never leave your device), or download the PDF and glue prints in by hand. Everything prints on standard letter paper, in a color edition and an ink-saver edition. More pieces join the shelf as they're finished.
Questions about the printables.
Yes. Everything on this page downloads right here, no email and no account. Planella is a free resource for preschool teachers, and the printables corner is part of that.
Preschool, roughly ages 3 to 5, though the feeling cards reach down to twos and do some of their best work in a toddler room. They fit center classrooms, family child care, and pre-K rooms, and they work at home too. Everything is written for the adult in the room, not as worksheets for children to complete.
The same pages with the heavy color backgrounds stripped out, so a classroom printer can run them without draining a cartridge. Every printable here comes in both: color when you want it bright, ink-saver for everyday copies.
Each card holds a photo of a real, familiar face making that feeling, and one person makes all twelve faces in a set: a child in your room, you, or a co-teacher. The easiest way is to make them online: tap a frame, add photos right from your phone, and print with the faces already in place. Or print the pages blank, trim photos to fit, glue or tape them down, and cover them so they last.
Nothing leaves your device. The cards are put together right in your own browser, on your own phone or computer. Planella never sees or stores your photos, and they never upload anywhere.
Not necessarily! Clear packing tape or a page protector lasts longer than you'd think. If you want the cards to last as long as they possibly can, then yes, laminating is a good option. Round the corners if you do.
Yes. Print as many copies as your own room needs, and pass paper copies to the families you work with. To share the files themselves, send a teammate to this page instead of forwarding your copy, so she always gets the current edition.
